➢​ EVENT DETAILS: ● ​Event Name: Robo Race ● Event Type: Technical ● Event Mode: Offline ● Venue: NIELIT, Imphal ➢​ Participation Details: ● Participation Type: Team ● Registration Fee: ₹150 per team Rules ● Participants must report 30 minutes before the event for verification. ● Each team may consist of up to 3 members and must register before the event begins. ● The robot must be autonomous and should fit within the size and weight limits defined by the organizers. ● As the track includes physical obstacles placed directly on the racing line, robots must be equipped with sensors (such as Ultrasonic or IR sensors) to detect these objects in real-time. ● The robot must identify an obstacle before physical contact is made. Upon detection, the robot must deviate from the path to bypass the obstacle. Immediately after clearing the obstacle, the robot must return to and resume following the original line to continue the race. ● The robot must complete the track by following the designated path and obstacles; skipping checkpoints or leaving the track leads to penalties or disqualification. ● Teams are given limited attempts to complete the race; the fastest valid completion time determines the winner. ● Any intentional damage, obstruction of other robots, or unsafe design will result in immediate disqualification. ● Teams may repair or adjust their robot only in the designated pit area and only before their run. ● Organizers reserve the right to modify rules if required. ● The organizing committee’s decision will be final in all matters. ● Participation implies acceptance of all rules and regulations. ● For a visual demonstration of the expected behavior, please refer to the following technical clip: https://youtube.com/shorts/HQpE9mMdxxk?si=5EMlBT9CIhuYcqER
